What do students usually do in class?

Biology 8

When students first come into contact with biology in grade 8, biology will be a part of general science 8. Students will begin to learn about biology, and then practice how to use microscopes. They will also study the differences between some biological cells and learn about what they are interested in in advance.

Biology 9 and 10

About biology 9 and 10, the students' main learning contents in the classroom are genetics, cell division, ecology and human systems. Biology 9 will focus on the difference between cell division and DNA structure. When it comes to Biology 10, they will focus on a larger environment and scope. For example, understand the cycle of matter in nature and discuss the importance of ecological balance.

Biology 11

Biology in Grade 11 is an independent course, and students will go deeper into life science. They mainly focus on five majors: bacteria, protozoa, fungi, plants and animals. Sometimes students can shovel earthworms and frogs by themselves, or conduct field research on the ecosystem.

Biology 12

When students reach in grade 12, they will study more advanced research on biology. The main research direction is human body and physiology, including detailed research on digestion, respiration, circulation, excretion and endocrine systems. Biology is very important for some students who want to enter medicine or nursing.
